About me
I’m Anne, a 19 year old graphic designer from Rotterdam, now based in Oslo. I graduated in Media Design and am currently studying Media, while combining study with creative work.
Since January 2025, I’ve been working at Ocean Outdoor a leading digital out of home media company that transforms city spaces into creative stages for brands. I started there as an intern and now work part-time beside my studies, specialising in advertising design for large scale outdoor campaigns.
In October 2023, I founded Maevisign , my own creative studio, because I love collaborating with people to shape their ideas and bring them to life visually. Whether it’s creating a logo, building a brand identity, designing print materials, or developing social media branding, I aim to make every idea not just seen, but remembered :)
When I’m not designing, you’ll find me running, cycling, or swimming or creating magazines and posters just for fun. Living in Oslo keeps me inspired: it’s a city full of energy and creativity!
About Maevisign
The name Maevisign was created in 2020, when I first started thinking about starting my own business in the creative industry. Since 2023, Maevisign has been officially registered with the Dutch KVK. I always knew I wanted to run my own business in something I was 100% passionate about. When we started discussing owning a business and branding during my graphic design studies, Maevisign immediately came back to mind. The branding I created back then suddenly made it feel much less out of reach, and that really motivated me. Maevisign doesn’t have any other designers on the team, so I do everything myself.
Experience and certificates
I’m a multi skilled creative with design experience across a wide range of tools, from Adobe Creative Cloud (After Effects, Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, all Adobe Certified) to Maya, Blender, ProCreate, and CorelDRAW, with a touch of Nuke along the way. I love exploring new techniques and often take on projects outside of my studies to keep learning and experimenting. Beside my Adobe certificates I got an official certificate for media that I passed through LOI (Leidsche Onderwijs instelling) with a 70/100.
My creativity isn’t limited to digital work, my painting series has been featured in several exhibitions in Rotterdam celebrating young creators in the city.
Professionally, I’ve gained experience through two internships: six months in the PR and Communications department at Lentiz, and at Ocean Outdoor in Oslo, where I work with bold, large scale visuals for a leading digital out of home media company. Both internships where half a year and a part of my graduation year at college.
